HOWEVER, I HAVE SOME SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT THE PROPOSAL TO PLACE A MOBILE HOME DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO MY PARCEL IN AN AGRICULTURAL SUBDIVISION, I HAVE 15 ACRES, RIGHT, RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO, UM, 10 92 TROUT.

I'M ON HERRING DRIVE AND MY WOODS BACKUP TO THAT.

UM, WE RAISE ENDANGERED AND RARE POULTRY, UM, ENDANGERED LIVESTOCK AND RARE POULTRY.

AND MY CONCERN IS THE PRESERVATION OF THAT AS WELL AS MY NATIVE WOODLANDS.

AND, UM, WE HAVE THESE, WE HAVE A LOT OF THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON THERE THAT WE'RE TRYING TO PRESERVE.

UM, THE SUBDIVISION WAS, UM, CREATED WITH A SPECIFIC PURPOSE IN MIND.

PRESERVING OPEN SPACE, MAINTAINING LOW DENSITY LAND USE, AND PROTECTING THE AGRICULTURAL CHARACTER OF OUR COMMUNITY.

ALLOWING A MOBILE HOME IN THIS LOCATION CONFLICTS WITH THOSE INTENDED USES WITH THE AESTHETIC STANDARDS OF THE AREA.

AND WITH THE GOAL SET OUT IN OUR ZONING REGULATIONS THAT THE DECISION COULD HAVE A REAL IMPACT ON THE SURROUNDING PROPERTY VALUES.

IT WOULD RAISE RESIDENTIAL DENSITY ABOVE WHAT THE INFRASTRUCTURE WAS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT, AND IT MAY PLACE ADDITIONAL STRAIN ON UTILITIES, EMERGENCY ACCESS AND LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE IN THE SUBDIVISION.

FOR THESE REASONS, I'M ASKING THE COUNCIL TO UPHOLD THE ZONING PRINCIPLES THAT SAFEGUARDS THE CHARACTER.

ALSO OUR PIECE STABILITY AND THE LONG-TERM VALUE OF OUR AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITIES.

THESE STANDARDS, THESE STANDARDS EXIST TO PROTECT ALL OF US, AND I BELIEVE IT'S IMPORTANT THAT WE APPLY THEM CONSISTENTLY.

ARE THERE HOMEOWNER, IS THERE A HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION OR YOU HAVE GUIDELINES THAT WE DON'T HAVE A HOMEOWNERS UM, ASSOCIATION, BUT, UM, I WILL SAY THAT WE HAD A SIMILAR SITUATION WHERE SOMEBODY BUILT RIGHT UP NEXT AGAINST US AND THOUGHT THAT PART OF OUR PROPERTY WAS THEIR PROPERTY.

THEY WERE SHOOTING IN TO THE AREA WHERE MY LIVESTOCK AND MY DOGS AND MY PEACOCKS AND EVERYTHING WERE.

AND, UM, WE HAD TO GET THE LAW INVOLVED.

I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED THAT THEY WERE GONNA BE BUILDING A HOME RIGHT THERE NEXT TO OUR PROPERTY.

UM, AND THE GUN LAWS SAY THAT THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SHOOTING WITHIN 300 FEET OF A BUILDING, WHICH MY BARN IS RIGHT THERE.

UM, THERE HAVE BEEN FIRES TO CLEAR THESE PROPERTIES AROUND ME.

UM, THEY HAVE NOTIFIED WITH BURN PERMITS TO THE CORRECT, UM, THE CORRECT PEOPLE, I GUESS THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY.

I'VE HAD LIVESTOCK KILLED BECAUSE OF THE SMOKE IN THE AREA.

WE'RE NOT BEING NOTIFIED OF ALL THESE, THESE BURNINGS AND CLEARINGS OF LAND AROUND US.

AND I'M TAKING THE OPPORTUNITY NOW TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS GOING ON IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD.

IT'S BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR.
